Team 08 - Lai Tsz Shan, Lo Suet Ying, Chow Ho Fai, Fang Kin Leung

Summary - The team builds a web-based tool for users to search, view, bookmark, download music videos and films from YouTube. It uses PHP as the scripting language and MySQL to store the necessary data. It also uses the YouTube API to get all the necessary information from time to time. The product requires very little effort to maintain so that the running cost is very low. If the tool became popular and the website traffic was adequately high, it can generate a good income from selling its real estate for advertising.

Users then just need to fill in some particulars to complete a letter. Users can then print out the letter, email the letter, or save the letter in PDF. The business model to monetize the application is mainly online advertising.

Summary - The team builds a online system for contact management and event management. users can create contact lists, a contact list can be set public or private, and can be exported to MSN. Users can create an event and invite people in the contact lists to join. In each event created, users can comment it. Google Maps are integrated in the event created.

It is suggested the team studies more about the business models of their product, as well as the market about healthcare information and products.

Summary - King Ki builds a simple system for collecting and presenting information about coupon. The programming skills include PHP, SQL, and Javascript. Although he is very hard-working towards the project, the product is not mature and the features are not rich enough. It is suggested that Lui explores more similar and related products in the market.

Summary - The team studies 3D modeling for virtual fitting. The tools they have used include 3D Max and Papervision3D.
